Termalinca Journey

Laya Trek

Trekking conditions on this route are very varied, ranging from alpine pastureland and high mountain passes (16,100 ft) to scenic farmland and woodlands. This trekking path also includes breathtaking campsites beneath some of Bhutan’s most striking peaks, including Jichu Drake and Chomolhari. This is one of the most popular treks because of the many remote dzongs, dispersed towns (including the amazing village of Laya), and the Gasa hot springs.
Season: This trek is generally open from April to June and mid- September to mid-November. However, April is the best trekking month for the Laya region.
